Another day, another… 46 dollars. My net worth increased by nearly $1,436 during the month of May, which comes out to about $46 per day. Not bad. Not great. I did spring for some NHL season tickets next year in the cheapest section, which costs me $1,600 for the season. I paid for that this month, which is the reason I didn’t make quite as much progress as I would have liked toward my net worth. However, I’ll be selling about half of those tickets at some point in the future and then going to a bunch of the games. I gotta use some of my money for fun, right? Or at least that’s what I’m always being told. My investments also dropped $500 over the month, which didn’t help. Anyways, balance sheet below if you’d like to peek.

I started this blog in 2010 when I graduated college with $43k of student loans and a negative net worth. Since then I’ve achieved milestones like getting married, buying a house, and tripling my income. During this time my wife and I managed to earn over 12,000,000 miles and points and used those points to travel to over 50 countries. And all of these points came from banks; neither of us travel for work.
